Bro. Paul Bertram, Sr. - Truth Baptist Bible College
Peace! Peace!... The world cries peace when there is no peace! But Peace can be found in the person of Jesus Christ. Peace is found in the Blood of Jesus Christ – His death on Calvary. Peace of God that passeth understanding dwells in the heart of those who trust him. Bro. Paul was ordained as a deacon in 1970 and as a preacher in 1971. He has served as associate pastor of Maryville Baptist Church since 1981. He is currently the Dean of Truth Baptist Bible College, a ministry at M.B.C. He also teaches the adult Sunday school class and is involved in many different aspects of the church ministry. He works with the pastor on the Gospel of Love radio program which is currently heard on 6 radio stations. Brother Paul is retired from Louisville Bedding Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business having attended Hope College and Heritage University. Bro. Paul was married for 36 years before God called his dear wife, Vicki, home on June 26, 2000. They have 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Heaven is dearer to their family since she crossed over. Her life and testimony have greatly influenced her family and those who knew her. All of their children are active members of Maryville Baptist Church and are involved in many aspects of the ministry here. On May 25, 2012 God blessed Bro. Paul again; he married a wonderful woman, Barbara. They now have been married, going on 2 years. Mrs. Barbara enjoys singing in the choir and taking care or her grandchildren.
